Oh, good, Mom is watching something on the little window. I… - morgiecat
Oh, good, Mom is watching something on the little window. I must find out how she makes it open up and show things. Sometimes she watches the little window and suddenly there's birds and Evil Enemy Squirrels on the big window. Molly thinks she can touch the birds, but Molly's not exactly the tastiest tuna in the can. She still believes in Santa Claus. Abbie thinks this is undignified but Abbie thinks everything is undignified, especially me. However, I have blackmail photos of Abbie and the carrot. Mom thinks she can hide the carrot and the catnip snake from us but mom keeps forgetting we have a supernoses. She's okay, even though it's hard learning all the words that she says. "Christ on a pony!" I think that's a religious reference. One day, I found a picture of Christ on a dinosaur, but that doesn't explain the whole pony thing.

Oh, God, here she comes!  I have to go!

I dunno. I don't know too many dogs. There are big ones here. Are you a good dog? Are you pro-cat?

Greetings Morgie! Purkin here, elder or possibly eldest cat in the sometimes household of the human whose account I have temporarily usurped. Tetrapod would say hi as well, but he's still a bit put out over Mario's presence in the house this weekend. Mario is the reason I'm contemplating "eldest;" Kyra-Mom brought him home last week and by the end of the week he was out with us! I don't know how you manage living with THREE other cats; two is really trying my patience. Poor Tetrapod, he thinks it's the end of the world or something. You shoulda seen his tail puff up at first; Kyra-Mom ran off for the camera. She loves fluffy puffed-up tails. Whenever something scares him she's there cooing about his tail. Humans are weird sometimes.

I really don't understand them, honestly. I've been living with them for twelve years now and they've got me kind of stumped. They hiss at us sometimes when we're up on the counter or trying to get outside, but they never hiss at each other no matter how angry they are. And Kyra-Mom keeps going away for days at a time, and this time she came back smelling like a horse! I hope she's not going to bring that home next time! It might knock the pink chair over so the humans can see all the claw marks hidden in the back.

Good luck getting the computer back. I've discovered that if I get Tetrapod to do something cute in another room they'll all go to look and leave the computer unattended.

Oh, Tetrapod says hi. He'd come and talk himself but he's busy with the catnip mouse at the moment.

A horse? Holy cow, that's bad. It's good they leave the computer unattended, isn't it?

Yes. I wish Kyra-Mom was here now; Mom and Dad came home but she didn't so I guess she went back to where she goes.

You see, Kyra-Mom leaves the computer on when she's done with it, but Mom and Dad always turn it off, so if I use it I have to waste time waiting for it to start up, it takes forever.

I'm alone for now, Dad's away and Mom's teasing Tetrapod with the peacock feather. No dignity, that boy has; he'll chase the blasted thing in a circle for a good half-hour, and meanwhile NO ONE is monitering the computer, endless start-up routine be damned.

ooh! TV!

Moushi, peering lazily from the lower left of this icon, LOVES loves loves the CD player. When the 5disk tray opens, she runs up, puts her front paws on the buttons and looks up at me, then at the tray, and dearly wishes she could play DJ. If she knew how to work the remote, I'd be skeeerewed!

One day, I came home and the tape deck that is part of the stereo interface was running... I think she managed to punch the fast forward button. None of the other kitties would be so nosey about machinery.

Re: ooh! TV!

I had cats who'd play the message on the answering machine.

Meooooow from Roxy and Sugar in San Diego. Here we are sitting at the computer. We've distracted our Person with one of those Book things. They're the only way to get her away from the click-click bar and the little window. We used to step on the shining part of that thing she calls a "powerstrip" to get her attention. But then she moved the powerstrip.

We must get revenge. Tonight she clipped Roxy's claws. What humiliation! What agony!

When Mom does that, she says she's going to paint them.

Hi Morgie. My name's Molly and I'm stealing my Monkey's computer for a few minutes. She probably won't like it, she says I get fur in the keyboard, but maybe she'll not notice.

I'm an only cat, I live here with my Monkey servants, but I think they need more training. They took me to the bad place yesterday, I didn't mind the other Monkey playing around with the back of my neck but when she had her hands under my belly and told my Monkeys that I was too fat, then I had to growl. At all of them. I think my Monkeys are getting a bit out of control, we can't have that.

I went and sat in my safe box (odd how sometimes it's a safe place and other times it's a nasty place. This may be something the Monkeys call 'context'). Anyway we came home and I felt a bit ill. I'm better this morning though ... ooh, the Monkey is returning. Gotta go!

Mmm....tuuuna. I really like fish...especially tuna. Sometimes, when my mommie is having fish for dinner, she will give me some. She's such a push-over sometimes.

Oh...I also like catnip. I wish my mommie would give me some more catnip to roll around in because I like to get high on it. Maybe if I look up at her and make cute faces at her, she'll give me some.

Morgie, do you by any chance have a human named Ginmar? I think my human knows her - he's Jacky Tar.

He left the top open on the computer, so I started playing with it and saw your picture.

Do you find humans generally ridiculous? I do. I mean, mine insists on waking me up at unreasonably early hours, goes away most of the day, then comes home and sits down in the armchair to watch tv. The only good thing about it is that he makes a decent lap for me.
